The charger detects the battery type and adjusts the charging profile accordingly.
What does desulfation mode do?
Desulfation sends high frequency electrical pulses through the battery to break down lead sulfate crystals that accumulate on the plates over time. This can restore 30-50% of lost capacity in mildly sulfated batteries, extending their usable life. It is most effective on batteries that have been left discharged for weeks or months.
